Welcome !
I am a philosopher of science and biology. My research focuses on modelling and scientific explanation in the life sciences. I'm also interested in the connections between evolutionary theory, social behavior and morality.
I earned my PhD at Harvard in 2010, and spent four years as a Polonsky Postdoctoral Fellow and the Van Leer Institute afterwards. In 2014 I joined the faculty of the philosophy department at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
A full CV is available here.
Along with colleagues from Tel Aviv, Bar Ilan and Tel-Hai I run a PhD program in history and philosophy of biology. We are currently seeking applicants - click here for more details.
